Acrylic nails worth the hype?
A few months back I wrote a post about the gel nail manicure and if it was worth the hype surrounding it. For prom I decided to try acrylics to have a complete opinion over which mani I like best.
Here's what I found :
- They damage the nail
- expensive
- polishes last longer
- great for nail art
- Makes the nail bigger
- polishes last longer
- hard to break or chew off
- I was expecting major damage it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be
- Expensive to get on
- High maintenance
- hard to refill at home
- they do look overly fake
- some damage to the nail
I really like these nails, the damage to the nail isn't horrible my nails are brittle and weak already I'm used to it and I've tried countless treatment to no avail. Yes it's expensive but to me it's worth it. I prefer it to the gel nails which one do you prefer ?
